There are several styles of labels that are suitable for use with QBPOS.

The most popular tend to be the ones that fit in a standard printer which include the Avery 5160 and 5167 labels. 
The 5160 is sized 1" X 2-5/8" and comes three across and ten down for 30 labels a sheet.  This is a good standard label.  The size is comparable to a standard mailing label.
The 5167 is sized 1/2" X 1-3/4" and as a smaller label than the 5160 is used in more of a boutique environment as the label fits well on business cards and is concealed well by those cards.  There are eighty labels on a page (4 across X 20 down).

With the use of a specialty tag printer, you have the option of using other labels and tags as well.  The two tag printers supported by QB POS include the Zebra 2824 Direct Thermal USB printer and the Zebra TLP 2824 Thermal Transfer USB Printer.  The 2824 DT prints directly onto the label/tag paper which is heat sensitive.  No ribbon or ink is needed.  The DT is used in indoor controlled environments as the direct thermal label is heat sensitive and usually paper based (not water resistant).

The labels/tags for the 2824 DT printer come in a variety of sizes:
2.25" X 1.25" Self Adhesive Labels
1.2" X .85" Self Adhesive Labels
2.25" X 1.35" Hang Tags
Jewelry Tags with Flaps 2.1875" X .5"
Jewelry Tags without Flaps 2.1875" X .5"
The flaps allow for the tab to be folded onto itself to keep any sticky residue off the jewelry.

If you require an environmentally resistant label then you will require the Zebra TLP-2824 TT printer with polypropelene label stock designed for outdoor use.  This printer uses a wax/resin ribbon that prints onto label stock that is designed to last in harsher environments for longer periods of time. 

The labels available for the TLP-2824 TT printer are thermal transfer labels made from polypropelene to last outdoors.  MPOS custom orders these labels as they are not a standard offering for this printer.  We offer them in one size - 2.25" X 1.25" with 1000 labels a roll (10 to a case).  Click here to order.
