QBPOS and Counting Inventory

Counting Inventory

QB POS allows you the use of a Physical Inventory Scanner to count your inventory and import that data into QB POS. The Cipher Lab 8000 portable data terminal allows for fast scans and quick count entry as well as fast transfer of that data to POS.

Installation Instructions (general):

In general, bring up QB POS first. Click File > Hardware Setup Wizard (or something similar). Then click on Physical Inventory Scanner (or perhaps Portable Data Terminal). Follow the directions for the rest of the setup. Do not install the driver that comes with the scanner.
